I’m on the team responsible for deploying our University’s central Linux servers and operating most Internet services running on them. Next to that, I do part-time freelancing for various customers, mainly as an Erlang/OTP developer. I also operate an instant messaging service together with Daniel Gultsch, the author of the Android app Conversations. Some years ago, I’ve initiated the Berlin XMPP Meetup with another few people, which is still running quite successfully. Since 2020, I’m a member of the XMPP Standards Foundation (XSF) (see my application for my involvement with XMPP). I’m also a member of the Individual Network Berlin. Last not least, I support the best soccer club of all time.
